Contemporary dance show to unconventional spaces | 25 min + DJ session
GIVE IT A SPIN
Contemporary dance company since 2004, resident in Teatro Ensalle of Vigo and directed by Rut Balbís.
The foundation of her artistic project is the search for an artistic language of her own from the work with the body and the movement through the contemporary scenic creation, reflected in his interest in the treatment of images and slow times.
So far, there are eight creations that the company has and with which it regularly participates in the networks of autonomous and national theaters, as well as in some of the most outstanding national or international festivals of the arts of the movement.
She received the first prize of the XXI Choreographic Competition of Madrid in 2007 with an extract of her piece No Intre 1800.
It is a new proposal by Pisando Ovos for non-conventional spaces where music and movement, in their pure states, meet through the dialogue between a dancer and a DJ.
A conversation based on giving a spin, on the continuous rotation, on the repetition and the transformation of movement and sound. A meeting where their bodies stand and resist under the shape of a continuous hug.
We count on the special cooperation of DJ Jas Processor.
